The James and Joan Lamb Scholarship
James and Joan Lamb came from working-class backgrounds but throughout their lives they have provided much love, abundance, and moral leadership for their families, friends, and their community.

In their honor, the Commonwealth Consultants Foundation has endowed $10,000 scholarships in their name for students attending George Mason University.

James Lamb is the son of an Irish immigrant who worked in the city of Philadelphia. His mother, Nora, worked as a cook for a wealthy family to provide for herself and her family. Joan Lamb is the daughter of a first-generation family. Her father, Joseph Juliano, left school after 8th grade to work as a stone-cutter. James and Joan Lamb came from working-class backgrounds but throughout their lives they have provided much love, abundance, and moral leadership for their families, friends, and their community.

Because they believed that a sound education provides an individual with the best possible chance for personal and spiritual fulfillment and economic prosperity, they personally sacrificed financially so they could focus on the education of their children and grandchildren.

In their honor, the Commonwealth Consultants Foundation has endowed four $10,000 scholarships in their name for students attending George Mason University.
